3-30W Ultra-Compact AC-DC Converter LDxx-23BxxR2 in 305RAC Family

The new AC-DC converter LD30-23BxxR2 fulfills the power range of LDxx-23BxxR2 Series in “305RAC” family. The LDxx-23BxxR2 series complies with the“305RAC” family requirements, features an ultra-slim size, wide input voltage range, wide operating temperature, ultra-low power consumption and other advantages, to meet customer expectations for low power consumption, high efficiency and cost performance.

At the same time, MORNSUN also launched 2 new expanded packaging series—LD03/05-23BxxWR2 and LD05-23BxxR2-M, to meet the market demands of dimension and pin-out.

1. Advantages of LDxx-23BxxR2 series

1)  Exquisite structure, small size, simple and easy to use

LD30-23BxxR2:The dimension is only 69.5x 39x 24mm, which is about 30% less than the previous version; 

LD03/05-23BxxWR2: The dimension of its 3W and 5W modules is 1”*1”, using soft pin-out, to meet customers expectations of space utilization;

LD05-23BxxR2-M: design to meet the market demands of dimension and pin-out. With a dimension of 45.7x 25.4x 21.5mm, it provides more optional for users


2)  Wide voltage range: 85 - 305VAC/100 - 430VDC

These modules comply with the global universal voltage requirements, 110/220/277VAC, and other standard voltages are applicable;


3)  High reliability

① These modules isolate withstand voltage 4000VAC, output short-circuit, over-current, over-voltage, and other protection functions

② These modules comply with IEC/EN/UL62368/EN60335/EN61558 standards, EMI performance meets CISPR32/EN55032 CLASS B, EN55014 standards, can be applied to 5000m altitude application, safe and reliable.

③ Full plastic case, meets UL94V-0 standards;

④ LD30-23BxxR2:mean time between failure(MTBF)>5,000,000 h;

LD03/05-23BxxWR2:mean time between failure (MTBF)>2,799,000 h;


4)  Wide operating temperature, ultra-low power consumption, high efficiency

① Operating temperature range: -40℃ to +85℃;

② No-load power consumption as low as 0.1W

③ LD30-23BxxR2:efficiency up to 90%; LD03/05-23BxxWR2:efficiency up to 82%; LD05-23BxxR2-M:efficiency up to 81.5%;

④ LD05-23BxxR2-M:No derating in full voltage and low temperature
