1. Introduction of PV15-29BxxR3 Series

Recently, MORNSUN upgraded and launched the new generation product PV15-29BxxR3 series with better performance and better cost. The newest PV15-29BxxR3 series with wider input voltage and smaller size, which can be widely used in photovoltaic power generation, high voltage inverter and other occasions.

The input voltage range of PV15-29BxxR3 series is 200-1500VDC (1600VDC lasts for 10S), features an industrial-grade operating temperature from -40℃ to +70℃. Compared with the previous version, these modules have not only reduced their size by 62%, but also improved significantly in cost performance and efficiency.


2. Advantages of PV15-29BxxR3 Series: 

1). Small size, easy to use 

Compared with the R1 generation (125*75*40mm,375cm³), the size is reduced by 62% (89*63.5*25mm,141cm³); The chassis mounting (A5) and DIN-Rail mounting (A6) expand the package;

2). Ultra-wide voltage range:

With ultra-wide input voltage, and 1600VDC can last for 10s;

3). High reliability

a. Low inrush current, the maximum inrush current is as low as 90A

b. High isolation insulation withstand voltage, reinforced insulation, to meet customers’ high voltage requirement of 4000VAC, actual data: 4000VAC/1.76mA

c. Bare machine meets EMS test

d. Pass the internal double 85 test (normal work for 1000 hours in a high temperature 85℃ and humidity 85% RH environment)

4). Wide operating temperature range, low power consumption, high efficiency       

a. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +70°C         

b. Efficiency up to 83%


3. Applications of PV15-29BxxR3 Series:

It can be widely used in the monitoring system of the combiner box, inverter system, tracking system, and other occasions.
