    This series size is only 11.5*17.5*9.0mm, output power can reach 9.75W. It has the high efficiency (95%), and wide voltage input range (4.75-18V), 1.5A current output., output short circuit protection, overheat protection, besides it has low ripple (25mV), ultra low power dissipation, no need any heat sink. As per 78 series three terminal regulator, this product costs only one tenth power of 78 series at 1.5A output. No heat sink using meets high efficiency, the space saving, much high reliability.  As per LDO, K78*XX-1500 series has much wider input range, still lower output ripple, higher efficiency (96%).
